About the European Laser Academy

The European Laser Academy (ELA) is an academic association created in 1990 as the European Laser Study Club (ELSC). It became the ELA in 1994. The ELA is an academic, clinic and scientific organization, which is independent of economic and political interests.

The ELA is an international organization devoted to laser research and teaching. It includes clinicians, academicians and researchers in all medical and dental fields. The Academy is devoted to clinical education, research, and the development of standards and guidelines for the safe and effective use of laser technology. The aim of the organization is to promote laser clinical applications by organizing laser congresses, symposiums, seminars, clinical and scientific researches, paper publishing and post-graduate laser courses.

The ELA organizes yearly laser congresses and during the year multiple seminars and training courses, featuring the most eminent laser specialists in the world.
